This is a very popular tourist area with lots of different activities like sport fishing, snorkeling, scuba-diving, hiking, rafting. Famous Arenal Volcano (active) is only 2 hours drive.
National parks are within 1-2 hours drive. There you can enjoy different types of activities like bird watching, canopy tours, ATV rides, hot springs etc.
